DRIVERS will soon be at risk of receiving $375 in fines thanks to a speed limit change in a major US city.
Although the law is already in effect, a major issue with local speed limit signs is delaying enforcement – but only for a few more days.
Honolulu adopted Bill 44 in October 2024, which lowered speed limits in school zones citywide from 25 to 20mph in an effort to promote public safety.
