WICHITA COUNTY (KFDX/KJTL) — A Fort Worth man was arrested on two federal charges and a 2nd degree felony charge after the Wichita County Sheriff’s Office made a traffic stop and found an undocumented, underage girl in his front seat.
Thursday, July 23 at 11:21 a.m., deputies were patrolling U.S. Highway 287 south near FM 2384 when they saw a black Chevrolet Tahoe allegedly traveling too close to a semi-truck.
Deputies said they initiated a traffic stop and identified the driver as Miguel Mezo-Antele, 25, of Fort Worth and a Hispanic female teen in the front passenger seat.
During a records check, dispatch told deputies Mezo-Antele had a confirmed warrant from the U.S. Marshal’s Service for “smuggling illegal aliens.”…
