The Newport Beach Police Department says they are actively investigating what they call an “organized gathering” that is said to be taking place this weekend.
“We’ve seen the post,” NBPD said on Instagram in a joint post with the city’s official account.
The post officials are referring to is one that indicates an event for July 26 – while the location was not specified, Newport Beach officials said they are working with regional partners to identify “those involved in organizing or promoting any unlawful activity.”…
