Stored food not cold enough cited in Erie County restaurant inspections

At least once a year, Erie County Department of Health officials inspect all restaurants and stores that sell unpackaged food. Here is a list of violations recorded July 16-24, 2026.

Corry Manor, 640 Worth St. (Dishwasher not operating properly.) July 22

Camp Fitch, 12600 Abels Road, Springfield Township. (Large tub of pre-cooked ground meat from the day before at 50 degrees.) July 22

2 noncritical violations

KFC, 5933 Peach St., Millcreek Township. Store was closed due to no hot water (and no handwashing) July 22. Reopened July 23 after repair. Also, 2 noncritical violations. July 23

Dollar General, 8214 Perry Highway, Summit Township. July 17
