SALEM, Va. (WDBJ) – The Mountain Valley Cluster Dog Show is bringing top canine talent to the Salem Civic Center.
Over the past four days, dogs representing more than 150 breeds have competed, drawing handlers, families and dog lovers for a close-up look at everything from familiar favorites to rarer breeds.
“We’ve got breeds here that maybe you’ve only seen in a book or maybe you’ve only heard about on TV,” said Dr. Erin Kerfoot, event chair. “But you come here and you’re going to see all kinds of different breeds, small, tall, hairy, not haired at all.”…
