Teen arrested in May shooting at El Paso’s Scenic Drive

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Two individuals exchanged gunfire at a Scenic Drive rest area after an argument escalated into a physical fight, according to a police document obtained by KTSM 9 News.

The document says two groups of juvenile individuals were at the scene on Friday, May 29 when the shooting took place. Police say a witness observed Cesar Galindo, also known as “Cash,” put two hands on a gun and fire it at the direction of a group at the rest area.

He was arrested for a deadly conduct discharge of a firearm charge on Thursday, July 23, according to court records. The 18-year-old has been in and out of jail several times for similar charges this year. Police have also identified Galindo through his tattoo with his moniker written on his stomach…
