Thomas Giegler parked his 2026 Honda Accord Hybrid near North Booth Street and East Center Street in Milwaukee. On June 26, the car was gone.
There was no broken glass and none of the plastic debris that often follows a forced ignition. Giegler used the manufacturer’s app to locate the Honda near 47th Street and Congress Street. When he reached it, the original key fob no longer worked.
