DENVER (KDVR) – Officials responding to an illegal burn call on Saturday morning underneath a bridge at 70th Avenue and I-25 said a body was found and removed from the scene.
Adams County Fire posted images of the initial response, which began around 6:24 a.m. underneath the bridge, with firefighters spotting smoke coming out of the tunnel.

Crews used a drone to investigate the scene. During that search, firefighters discovered a dead body in the tunnel, which was removed from the scene.
