ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Motorcycles, therapy dogs and a community lunch highlighted the annual Dogs and Hogs Fundraiser benefiting the Rock River Chaplains’ Association Saturday at Kegel Harley-Davidson.
The organization provides emotional and spiritual support to first responders and their families, while also helping community members during some of life’s most difficult moments. Leader says its mission is to offer comfort, encouragement, and a listening ear to those facing crisis.
Saturday’s event featured a police-escorted motorcycle ride, therapy dogs, food, and opportunities for the community to learn more about the association’s work.
