CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Two 17-year-olds were charged after a weapon of mass destruction and ammunition were seized from a home in northeast Charlotte, police say.
University City officers recently assisted North Carolina Probation with a search at a convicted felon’s home in the 1000 block of Hanover Crossing Drive. The individual, Tristain English, was convicted in a 2025 shooting into an occupied dwelling case.
During a search of English’s bedroom, officers located and seized:
- Glock 21 with two extended magazines and a Switch device
- Two Autel key programmers
- Ten key fobs
- Ammunition: 9mm & .45 caliber
- Extended handgun magazines
- Drug paraphernalia
English was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon of mass destruction, possession of a firearm by a minor, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of breaking & entering motor vehicle tools…
