NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY)– Police in Newport New are investigating after an overnight gunshot disturbance left two woman hurt.
Officers responded to the 500 block of Mercury Boulevard at 2:26 a.m. after hearing shots fired in that area. After canvassing the area, officers were unable to locate any victims.
Just before 3 a.m., officers were notified that two women arrived at a local hospital after sustaining injuries related to a shooting. After investigating, it was revealed those women were involved in an altercation with another individual in the area where officers heard the gunshots…
