Earlier this month, The Bee asked readers to send in questions about construction projects around town. In this second installment, we look at new housing projects and the Naraghi Lake development that has left residents wondering for decades.
Naraghi Lake
We do not have any new information to share on the development of Naraghi Lake, along Oakdale Road north of Floyd Avenue. The property is owned by the Naraghi family, and spokesperson Wendell Naraghi told The Bee, “Our family is currently working closely with local and regional land planners, builders, engineers, and the city to develop an exciting mixed-use vision for the area.”
He also said, “As plans are finalized, we look forward to sharing more details and our long-term vision with the Naraghi Lakes community.”
So, it looks like residents shouldn’t count on construction happening any time in the near future.
