Very hot and humid conditions were back in the Chicago forecast Monday, with heat index levels up to 110 degrees in some locations, along with two waves of storms that could be severe with heavy rain, hail and even the chance for tornadoes.
“That tornado threat is low,” NBC 5 Storm Team Meteorologist Alicia Roman said. “But it’s non-zero going into the afternoon.”
