Vancouver, Wash. suspects accused of refusing sale to Black woman, threatening to tase her

VANCOUVER, Wash. (KATU) — According to the Vancouver Police Department, two men holding a yard sale allegedly told a Black woman she was not welcome because of her race after she stopped by to shop.

Police said the men then threatened her with a taser. Officers arrested both men on suspicion of malicious harassment (Washington’s hate crime law), harassment and displaying a weapon. Police said the woman was not physically injured.

The suspects will be in court Monday afternoon…
