Two Alabama police departments have confirmed that former officers are no longer employed following internal investigations into the use of Flock license plate reader systems, with both cases now turned over to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
The cases involve separate internal investigations by the Moody and Springville police departments.

Moody Police Chief Reece Smith confirmed to ABC 33/40 that an officer was terminated on July 16 after an internal investigation found the officer violated the department’s license plate reader policy.
