State seeks pretrial detention for man accused in I-75 standoff

Prosecutors are asking that a St. Petersburg man accused in the deadly shooting of a woman in Pinellas County and a standoff with authorities in Lee County remain in custody without bond.

Ladavion King, 43, faces charges of attempted second-degree murder; discharging a firearm from a vehicle; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; and fleeing and eluding authorities in Lee County.
