‘I truly cannot understand’: SC man sentenced after string of Myrtle Beach armed robberies

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – A man has pleaded guilty to a string of Myrtle Beach armed robberies that a prosecutor called “senseless in every way.”

Asa Price, 20, of Columbia, pleaded guilty to two counts of armed robbery, one count of first-degree burglary, and one count of kidnapping, according to the 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office. Price had no prior criminal history.

A judge sentenced Price on Monday to 20 years in prison on each offense, with the sentences to be served at the same time…
