1 of 2 teens sentenced over robbery disguised as phone repair

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A 19-year-old was sentenced Monday for a phone repair scheme that escalated to an armed robbery.

Kayden Kubisty was handed three years of prison time. Because his conviction violated a suspended sentence for a separate battery case, two more years were tacked onto his sentence.

The other person involved, Jaylin Early, is now 20 years old and is set to be sentenced in November. He pleaded guilty to his role in the robbery…
