Two Philadelphia men have been charged in connection with a series of vehicle break-ins at casino parking lots across the region, according to prosecutors cited by PhillyVoice. The most recent theft took place at Rivers Casino in Fishtown on June 4. Investigators say surveillance footage captured the incident and led to both arrests.
Darnell Martin, 33, is accused of removing two firearms along with other property from an unlocked vehicle in the casino’s parking lot. Eric Blackwell, 29, allegedly served as lookout. Martin was arrested on July 9; Blackwell was taken into custody the following week.
