NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – A visitor to New Orleans said it may be some time before she returns to the city after getting wounded during a shooting near Canal Street.
Around 11:30 p.m. Saturday (July 25), New Orleans Police said two men opened fire on each other during an argument near Canal and Carondelet Streets. In that exchange, investigators said one of those men was wounded along with an innocent bystander.
“I don’t know what it’s supposed to feel like, but it didn’t feel like a bullet was going through my skin. I think I had a lot of adrenaline going through my body,” said the victim…
