OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Air conditioning companies are seeing an increase in service calls and system breakdowns during the current stretch of extreme temperatures, with technicians saying residents should not wait until their units fail to take action.
Scott Wood Jr., who runs McCarthy’s One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning, said his phone has not stopped ringing.
“Systems are breaking down. Extreme urgency to get out here right now. And we’re just doing the best we can to keep up with as much of the demand as possible,” Wood Jr. said.
