LOS ANGELES – After a whirlwind tour spanning seven countries, the “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” global press circuit and fashion showcase made its grand finale in Los Angeles. The Hollywood premiere on Monday, July 27, saw co-stars Tom Holland and Zendaya captivate fans and media alike with their stunning appearances.

Tom Holland, 30, who recently affectionately referred to Zendaya, 29, as “my wife,” arrived early to the red carpet, well ahead of his real-life partner and fellow Spider-Man star, who portrays MJ, Peter Parker’s longtime love interest. The wait proved worthwhile.

As Holland engaged in interviews, a sleek sprinter van pulled up to the Dolby Theatre around 7:34 p.m. local time. The sliding door opened to reveal Zendaya, exuding poise and glamour as she stepped onto the carpet.

Styled by Law Roach, Zendaya dazzled in a striking black gown from Ashi Studio’s Fall 2026 collection. The ensemble featured a flowing train and a dramatic plunging neckline with sculptural details reminiscent of a spider’s front legs – a subtle nod to her iconic franchise role. Photographers eagerly captured the moment, especially as Zendaya proudly displayed her sparkling diamond ring.

The premiere attracted a star-studded crowd eagerly anticipating the movie’s nationwide release on Friday, July 31. “Dune” director Denis Villeneuve, who will work with Zendaya again in the upcoming “Dune: Part Three,” arrived quietly.

Meanwhile, “Black Panther” star Michael B. Jordan made a memorable entrance, greeting the cast warmly while sporting a Spider-Man fan T-shirt.

Also on the red carpet was Sadie Sink, known for her role in Netflix’s “Stranger Things,” though details about her part in the film remain under wraps. Jon Bernthal, reprising his role as Frank Castle (the Punisher) in the film, shared the screen with Holland and Zendaya in Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey,” playing Menelaus. Bernthal expressed heartfelt admiration for Holland, calling him hardworking, kind, and loyal-a sentiment he shared with USA TODAY.

Holland, ever the consummate professional, offered advice for enduring the demanding media rounds for both “Spider-Man” and “The Odyssey”: “Eat healthy, go to bed early, smile and wave.”

Known for his positive mindset, Holland also spoke about his belief in manifesting his future successes. “I really believe in manifesting; I think it’s a real thing,” he said.

“I’m so lucky that a lot of things I mention in interviews actually come true.” However, when pressed about his next aspirations, the actor remained tight-lipped, saying he’s waiting for the right feeling before sharing.

As fans eagerly anticipate the release of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” the premiere underscored the enduring star power and charisma of Holland and Zendaya, who continue to shine both on and off the screen.
