WEST JORDAN, Utah (ABC4) — One person is critically injured after being shot in West Jordan.
According to law enforcement, they responded to the area of 5051 W 8500 S for reports of a shooting shortly after 6 p.m. They confirmed that an adult victim, identified only as a male, had been shot, and he was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
At this time, they are looking for a single suspect, and they are not aware of the suspect’s location at this time. However, the West Jordan Police Department says there could be more individuals involved.
Based on the preliminary investigation, this appears to be an isolated incident. Officials are asking the public to stay away from the scene as they investigate.
