Attleboro’s police chief said Tuesday that a person was struck and killed by a train.
Amtrak said in a statement that someone trespassing on the tracks was hit at about 2:50 p.m. by train 172 traveling from Washington to Boston.
“There have been no reported injuries to the 373 passengers or crew onboard,” Amtrak said. “Amtrak is working with local law enforcement to investigate the incident.”…
