PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — A person suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a falling tree during a reported “logging incident” on Portland’s west side, Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighters were initially called out after receiving a call that a tree had fallen on a person in the 6300 block of NW Thompson Road, near NW Skyline Boulevard, around 3:15 p.m. Life Flight was initially requested but later canceled.
