A man has died after being struck by a car in a hit-and-run crash Saturday in Southeast Portland, and a suspect has been arrested, officials said.
Police responded to a crash near Southeast Powell Boulevard and 71st Avenue around 8:45 p.m. Officers found a pedestrian who had been hit by a car that fled the scene, according to police.
First responders provided aid to the victim at the scene, and he was transported to an area hospital, but he died several hours later from his injuries, officials said Monday. The victim has not been publicly identified…
