PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Portland woman has been convicted in connection to an incident at the local U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility last fall.
Katherine Vogel pleaded guilty to interfering with federal law enforcement on Tuesday, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Oregon. Authorities said the 39-year-old woman “failed to comply” with officers as they attempted to arrest her after she was found painting the ICE building on Sept. 30, 2025.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office previously alleged that Vogel punched one of the agents who tried to process her at the ICE facility following her arrest.
More recently on June 22, she was charged with failing to obey a lawful order and interfering with federal law enforcement. Her guilty plea for the latter charge comes with a maximum prison sentence of one year…
