Someone in Western New York is waking up a millionaire this morning after Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing. The New York State Lottery announced that one 2nd-place winning ticket was sold in the 716.
The ticket matched all five numbers but missed the Mega Ball number to win the 2nd place prize of $1 million dollars. That ticket also had a built-in Megaplier of X3, so the total winnings were $3 million dollars.
