With the Oakland Roots’ remaining home games at risk, an Alameda County supervisor said Tuesday he will seek a special meeting to keep the soccer club playing at the Coliseum despite its failure to pay $1.4 million in overdue rent.
“I don’t think any of us wants to see a fourth sports team not make it in Oakland,” said Supervisor David Haubert in an interview.
