LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – MSD customers in Louisville and Jefferson County will soon see a higher bill after the MSD board approved a 3.0% increase for customers in the area.
MSD says the change takes effect on Sept. 1 and will raise the average customer’s bill by about $3.23 per month. The agency says the increase is necessary to address aging infrastructure, higher construction costs, and ongoing clean-water requirements, while continuing to fund wastewater, stormwater drainage, and flood protection.
