LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) -Both federal and state laws are cracking down on semi drivers who shouldn’t be legally allowed to drive the large vehicles.
In Indiana, a new law makes obtaining a commercial driver’s license through illegal means a felony offense, with penalties of up to $5,000. Employers who hire these drivers could face larger fines of up to $50,000.
