RALEIGH, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — North Carolina state health officials say the cases of cyclosporiasis in the state have surged to over 700, resulting in 24 hospitalizations since the beginning of March.
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services announced Tuesday the launch of a new dashboard to track the reported cyclosporiasis cases and outbreaks in the state. Data shows the number of cases as of Tuesday has reached 718, with the majority of cases being in Wake County (432).
