LITTLETON, Colo. (KDVR) — A Littleton homeowner told FOX31 that her homeowner’s association threatened her with fines over dead grass, despite her following local watering restrictions during Colorado’s ongoing drought.

Paulette Piazza, who is a customer of Denver Water, is limited to watering her lawn two days a week under current restrictions. She said she is doing her best to keep her grass green while complying with the rules.
“I can’t work on my lawn until the drought is done,” Piazza said.
