BERNALILLO — About 7.8 acres of land surrounding the Sandoval County administration complex will be part of Bernalillo instead of Rio Rancho.
The request for the deannexation came to Rio Rancho City Council July 23 from Sandoval County administration and the town of Bernalillo to consolidate land around the complex, according to County Manager Wayne Johnson.
