It’s been more than 25 years since two sisters have etched their names onto the Wisconsin Junior Girls Championship trophy, but the state has never seen two sisters do what Hartland’s Allison and Jessica Guiser have done this month.
Allison Guiser provided the finishing touches Wednesday at Hartford Golf Club where the rising junior at Arrowhead High School (Hartland) topped Grafton’s Kendyl Conrad with a 4-and-3 victory in the championship match of the Wisconsin State Junior Girls Match Play Championship. Her victory came two weeks to the day after sister Jessica, a redshirt sophomore at the University of Florida, won the Wisconsin State Women’s Amateur, making them the first sister act to win the Wisconsin State Golf Association’s top women’s and girls titles in the same calendar year.
