(KRON) — A suspect and his mother have both been arrested in connection to a robbery in Berkeley during which a young woman was shot in the face last month. The incident occurred on June 14 at 11:13 p.m. on Ashby Avenue near Martin Luther King Jr. Way.
The Berkeley Police Department responded to reports of gunfire. Arriving at the scene, officers found a 19-year-old woman who had been shot in the face.
She was taken to the hospital and is still recovering.
