BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Stacey Wondra is set to go to trial in September for the murder of Michael Vaughan who went missing five years ago. Ryan Black, a legal expert, told IdahoNews.com he believes the case will be difficult for both sides.
Vaughan went missing in July of 2021 at five years old. Since then, despite investigators searching the property of Wondra after a K-9 unit identified the area, no body has been found.
In the time leading up to Wondra’s trial, his defense team has filed a series of motions to suppress certain pieces of evidence including Wondra’s own confessions, the K-9 investigation and a letter Wondra wrote while in jail…
