Dangerously hot weekend ahead as National Weather Service issues Extreme Heat Warning for southern Utah

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, July 30, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for portions of southern Utah, warning that dangerously hot temperatures and warm overnight lows could create life-threatening conditions from Friday through Sunday.

The warning remains in effect from noon Friday until 9 p.m. MDT Sunday.
