ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU/Gray News) – A female brown bear was caught on camera killing and eating a spring cub at an Alaskan national park.
Park rangers said the intentional killing of the offspring was caught on Kat’s River View live feed early Tuesday morning at Katmai National Park and Preserve.
In the video, the adult female brown bear, identified by rangers as 806, can be seen sitting on a spit downstream from Brooks River with her two cubs lingering nearby, one of them identified as “Biggie,” a 2-year-old bear who had been adopted by 806…
