Culver’s files plans for first Wilmington location off Market Street

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Culver’s is expanding its North Carolina footprint, with plans filed to build the chain’s first location in Wilmington.

The proposed site is at 6 Van Campen Boulevard, just off Market Street in the shopping center anchored by Walmart.

To make way for the new restaurant, developers plan to tear down the building that once served as a Kirkland’s Home store. According to documents filed with the city in late July, a new single-story restaurant of approximately 4,500 square feet with a drive-thru lane and parking lot would be built in its place…
