Two brothers pleaded guilty in connection with staging a fake robbery at a Boston credit union where one of the siblings worked as a teller.
Jenel Flounoury, 30, and Justin Flounoury, 34, both of Brockton, each pleaded guilty July 24 to one count of conspiracy to commit larceny from a credit union, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
In September 2024, the brothers staged a robbery at the Energy Credit Union in West Roxbury, where Jenel was employed. On the day of the robbery, Justin entered wearing dark clothing, sunglasses and a mask and approached the teller window where Jenel was stationed. Justin passed a note that read, “Hand it over.”…
