Suspect wanted for bone-breaking sucker punch on man, 75, in Midtown

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a suspect after a 75-year-old man was sucker punched in an unprovoked attack while walking in Midtown on Thursday.

The victim was walking on Lexington Avenue near East 50th Street at about 6:30 a.m. on Thursday when police said he was approached by a stranger who punched him in the face with a closed fist.

EMS transported the man to NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition. He suffered a fractured orbital, also known as a broken eye socket…
