CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) — As Charlottesville moves forward with plans to open an emergency shelter at 2000 Holiday Drive, some nearby businesses say they are concerned about the timeline and want more information about how the facility will operate.
The shelter is expected to open Sept. 1 as part of the city’s effort to transition people from the Rivanna River encampment.
