All About Konala
Konala was founded in 2023 by husband-and-wife duo Trace Miller and Jammie Miller, who had the mission of making healthy food as “delicious and convenient as possible,” per the website. The business is named after their two rescue dogs, Kona and Nala, and is pronounced “koe-nah-luh.” Its other Konala locations are located in Washington, Utah, and Idaho.
The Belleville location is owned and operated by Anthony J. Menicola, a Fair Lawn-based entrepreneur, gym owner, and fitness enthusiast. He has obtained exclusive rights to develop Konala locations throughout New Jersey, with the goal of opening 10 units in the next five years, per a press release.
