ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A service designed to make travel easier for those flying out of Rockford will end less than a year after it launched.
Friday, the Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD) said it was informed that American Airlines will end its Landline motorcoach service between RFD and the Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
Through the program, passengers can check in and clear security at RFD before boarding a Landline bus that drives them straight to O’Hare. Once they arrive, travelers can go to their connecting gate and skip security lines…
