PIERCE COUNTY, Wash. — A 40-year-old man has been arrested after deputies say he kidnapped and assaulted a woman in Pierce County earlier this week.
The incident began around 11 p.m. July 27 near 136th Street South and Pacific Avenue South, where multiple witnesses called 911 to report a man violently assaulting a woman before forcing her into a vehicle and driving away, according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office.
