Atlanta, Georgia — After enduring days of sweltering heat followed by scattered storms, residents across metro Atlanta and much of North Georgia are being urged to prepare for another unsettled weekend. Forecasters say multiple rounds of thunderstorms, heavy rainfall, and the potential for damaging winds could impact the region, raising concerns about flash flooding in areas that have already experienced recent storm damage.
Multiple Waves of Storms Expected Across Metro Atlanta
According to the National Weather Service, multiple rounds of thunderstorms are possible on Saturday, with weather conditions expected to change throughout the day.

The first batch of storms is forecast to develop from late morning into the early afternoon, bringing periods of heavy rain and frequent lightning.
