MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) – Another round of strong storms on the Gulf Coast Friday produced gusty winds and waterspout. One spout was captured on a WKRG weather camera.
Just after 3:00 PM Friday afternoon, a severe storm tracked across Downtown Mobile. A severe thunderstorm warning issues warning of 60 mph wind gusts.
At 3:10 PM, the Chief Meteorologist Ed Bloodsworth and Meteorologist Sam Parker of the News 5 First Alert Storm Team were tracking some turbulent clouds over the Mobile River and Battleship Park.
