SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – For the first time, visitors to the Ozark Empire Fair can purchase an alcoholic drink and carry it with them around the fairgrounds.
Fair leaders say the change is about convenience, not a new source of revenue.
New locations, new options
Margaritas are a new addition at Jalapeños Mexican Food this year. The stand is one of about six locations now selling alcohol at the fair, up from about four under the previous policy.
