WAYNESBORO VA: (Rocktown Now) – Police in Waynesboro are investigating an assault that left a Pennsylvania man with life‑threatening injuries late Saturday afternoon.
Officers were dispatched to a Waynesboro park in the 100 block of Short Street at approximately 4:36 p.m. after receiving reports of an assault. When they arrived, they found a 56‑year‑old man from Pennsylvania unconscious and suffering from severe injuries. He was transported to UVA Medical Center for emergency treatment.
